Cliff Avril Sacks Romo and Romo is Slow to get up

Cliff Avril took down Tony Romo from behind during a game. Romo did not notice Avril running at him and could not slide in time to avoid getting tackled. Instead, Avril took Romo to the ground and Romo stayed on the turf and held his back in pain. He was able to walk off the field however he was not able to go back into the game. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said I had my mind on, 'Come on, Tony, get up.' Said a few prayers right there.

Tony Romo was not injured but he won't be able to play in the preseason finale. Because of Romo's absence, second string quarterback Prescott will be able to get more playing time which is good so that he can have practice for if this happens during the season. This is a huge setback for the Cowboys but they are going to try and make the most of it by allowing Prescott to practice.
